چکیده

As an intermediary connection between primary producers and higher trophic levels, zooplankton are important component of the aquatic food chain, contributing significantly to biological productivity. This study describes diversity community structure, as well their relationships with ecological factors, in homestead ponds a coastal district along northern Bay Bengal region. Significant differences (p < 0.05) were detected mean values temperature, pH, DO, TDS, transparency, phosphates from during December 2020, but no significant found nitrate levels. However, variances parameters months due taking place same season. Sixteen species, representing four groups, area, highest abundance 301.19 ± 40.55 ind./L recorded February 2021 lowest 293.02 21.13 2020. The (H’), evenness (e), richness (J), dominance (D) ranged 2.49 2.12, 0.93 0.84, 2.05 1.56, 0.13 0.09, respectively. Based on SIMPER analysis, Diaptomus gracilis Brachionus calyciflorus be contributors (>10%) structure different months. ANOSIM results revealed that 10 species based average dissimilarity. canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) identified nitrates, have impact area.

Vertical Distribution of Zooplankton and Copepod Community Structure in the Straits of Malacca

Vertical distribution of zooplankton biomass and abundance, copepod taxonomic composition and species diversity were analyzed at eight stations during an oceanographic expedition along the Straits of Malacca. Samples were collected in vertical hauls (140 μm mesh using 45 cm diameter NORPAC net) from four depth strata. Zooplankton biomass was higher at 10-20 m depth in the central and southern p...

a contrastive study of rhetorical functions of citation in iranian and international elt scopus journals

writing an academic article requires the researchers to provide support for their works by learning how to cite the works of others. various studies regarding the analysis of citation in m.a theses have been done, while little work has been done on comparison of citations among elt scopus journal articles, and so the dearth of research in this area demands for further investigation into citatio...

Can microcystins affect zooplankton structure community in tropical eutrophic reservoirs?

The aim of our study was to assess whether cyanotoxins (microcystins) can affect the composition of the zooplankton community, leading to domination of microzooplankton forms (protozoans and rotifers). Temporal variations in concentrations of microcystins and zooplankton biomass were analyzed in three eutrophic reservoirs in the semi-arid northeast region of Brazil. The concentration of microcy...

Community composition and diversity of zooplankton in the northwest Persian Gulf

Survey on zooplankton composition was studied during June 2015 to March 2016, by selecting six stations along the coastal waters of Bushehr (the Northwest Persian Gulf). Twenty four zooplankton taxa were identified, and the different zooplankton groups represented twenty-one families. Copepoda was recorded with the most abundance (53.30 %) followed by Malacostraca (32.87 %), which in turn was f...
